Job summary

BHIVE is seeking a proactive Facility Executive – Technical to oversee and manage all technical aspects of our workspace facilities across BHIVE centres. The role requires hands-on expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, DG and building maintenance systems along with strong vendor management.

The ideal candidate will drive uptime, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and audit requirements while collaborating with Projects, Admin, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on management of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, DG and building maintenance systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repair works.
• Vendor and contractor management ensuring SLAs and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and audit requirements.
• Budgeting and inventory management for technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, CCTV, access control, fire safety, and DG systems.
• Ensure all technical equipment is functioning with minimal downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and failures.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise repair works, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists, and maintenance reports.
• Engage and supervise external vendors, AMC providers, electricians, and technicians.
• Ensure vendors adhere to SLAs, timelines, and quality standards.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain cost control.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and audit requirements.
• Conduct periodic fire safety checks and coordinate with fire safety vendors.
• Maintain compliance records and SOP adherence across sites.
• Monitor and control technical operations budget, including maintenance costs and repair expenses.
• Maintain inventory of technical equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Raise PR/PO for technical requirements.
• Support centre managers with technical escalations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

This role requires hands‑on expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, DG and building maintenance systems along with strong vendor management and problem‑solving skills. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, timely issue resolution, and optimal uptime of all technical infrastructure across BHIVE centres.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Infrastructure Management

• Oversee daily operations of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, CCTV, access control, fire safety, and DG systems.
• Ensure all technical equipment is functioning effectively with minimal downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and technical failures.

2. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise repair works, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists, and maintenance reports.

3. Vendor and Contractor Management

• Engage, coordinate, and supervise external technical vendors, AMC providers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and plumbers.
• Ensure vendors adhere to SLAs, timelines, and quality standards.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain cost control.

4. Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and audit requirements.
• Conduct periodic fire safety checks and coordinate with fire safety vendors.
• Maintain compliance records and ensure SOP adherence across sites.

5. Budgeting and Inventory

• Monitor and control technical operations budget, including maintenance costs and repair expenses.
• Maintain inventory of technical equipment, tools, and consumables (lights, switches, cables, filters, etc.).
• Raise PR/PO for technical requirements.

6. Centre Support and Coordination

• Support centre managers and operations teams with any technical or facility-related escalations.
• Ensure minimal disruption to member experience and workspace operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Projects, Admin, and IT.
