Job summary

BHIVE Workspace is seeking an experienced MEP Manager – HVAC to lead design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems across BHIVE facilities in Bengaluru. You will ensure efficiency, reliability, and regulatory compliance to deliver comfortable, sustainable workspaces for clients.

Responsibilities include planning and supervising HVAC activities on multiple projects, coordinating with architects and contractors, and developing preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering or a related field is required.
• 8-10 years in MEP design with at least 5 years on corporate interior projects.
• Proficiency with MEP design software and knowledge of building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise HVAC-related activities across multiple projects within budget and quality standards.
• Oversee design and installation of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with codes and environmental regulations.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and diagnose issues to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and manage budgets for HVAC projects and maintenance; negotiate vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards and lead a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors.
• Provide training and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.

Overview: The MEP Manager – HVAC at BHIVE Workspace plays a pivotal role in managing the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems across our facilities. This position requires a strategic thinker and hands-on professional who ensures the efficiency, reliability, and compliance of HVAC systems to create comfortable and sustainable workspaces for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the HVAC-related activities of multiple projects, ensuringtimelycompletion within budget and quality standards.
  

System Design and Implementation:

• Oversee the design and installation of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors for the integration of HVAC systems into overall MEP designs.
  

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems across properties.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  

Budget Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets for HVAC projects and maintenance.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
  

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure HVAC systems meet all regulatory and environmental standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors.
• Provide training and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum of8-10years of experience in MEP design, with at least 5 years’ experience in corporate interior.
• Proven experience in designing MEP systems for large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects.
