Job summary

Golden Opportunities seeks an F&A Transformation Head to lead large-scale finance transformation programs across R2R, O2C, P2P and FP&A in India. You will drive AI-enabled finance initiatives, build transformation roadmaps, and deliver outsourcing-focused assets and governance models.

You will bring 20+ years of F&A transformation experience, with exposure to BPO/shared services, ERP platforms (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Workday), and a strong record in multi-industry delivery.

Job Title: F&A Transformation Head

Candidates Specification: 20+ years is mandatory

Job Description

• Candidate should understand bigger transformation including Agentic AI interventions in F&A space .
• Solid communication and understanding of transformation and AI within F&A space.
• Expert in Finance process excellence, digital transformation, and client advisory
• Deep operational experience delivering F&A transformation programs
• 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting transformation, with a strong emphasis on BPO, shared services, or outsourcing advisory contexts.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale F&A transformation programmes across multiple industries and geographies.
• Deep functional expertise across core F&A towers: Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Hands-on experience in the development of outsourcing practice assets including solution frameworks, maturity assessments, pricing models, transition methodologies, and governance structures.
• Familiarity with leading technology platforms in the F&A space — SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, Workday Financials, Blackline, Coupa, Anaplan, or equivalent.
• Exposure to intelligent automation, AI-driven finance and data analytics as levers within F&A transformation programmes is highly desirable.
• Client Advisory & Transformation Delivery : Architect transformation roadmaps spanning process redesign, technology enablement (ERP, EPM, RPA, AI), and operating model change across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and FP&A.
• Outsourcing Practice Development : Design, develop, and continuously improve reusable F&A practice assets — including transformation frameworks, process maturity models, benchmarking tools, solution architectures, and client-ready propositions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or finance certification preferred.
• Experience in a Big Four / top-tier consulting firm, major BPO provider, or within a F&A shared services centre in a transformation-focused capacity.
• Exposure to operating model design, organisational design, or change management as components of transformation programmes.
