Job Title: Business Transformation Senior Manager

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end FPA transformation projects from vision development through implementation, managing complex stakeholder ecosystems across client organizations.
• Drive client conversations and presentations at C‑suite and senior finance leadership levels to articulate transformation value propositions and secure buy‑in.
• Manage and develop high‑performing teams of experienced consultants, providing strategic direction and ensuring transformation and delivery excellence within time and budget constraints.
• Design and implement innovative FPA solutions that leverage technology to automate processes, enhance analytics capabilities, and improve decision‑making speed and accuracy.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration between finance, technology, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new processes.
• Apply deep subject‑matter expertise in core FPA processes—including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting—to design optimal future‑state solutions.
• Leverage advanced analytics and AI/ML technologies to build predictive models, scenario planning capabilities, and intelligent forecasting systems that transform traditional FPA approaches.
• Conduct comprehensive process assessments to identify automation opportunities and design optimal technology‑enabled workflows that reduce manual effort while improving accuracy.
• Translate complex financial concepts into technical requirements and vice versa, serving as the bridge between finance and technology teams.
• Help build data‑driven FPA platforms using modern technologies (cloud‑based EPM systems, data visualization tools, robotic process automation) to create scalable, real‑time financial insights.
• Support pursuit activities by developing compelling demonstrations of FPA transformation capabilities and participating in client pitches.
• Contribute to RFP responses with technical solution design, project estimates, and implementation approaches for FPA modernization opportunities.
• Develop business cases and ROI models for proposed FPA transformation initiatives, including cost‑benefit analysis and implementation roadmaps.
• Leverage professional networks to identify and develop new business opportunities in the FPA transformation space.
• Drive innovation initiatives by staying current with emerging FPA technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes that impact financial planning processes.
• Conduct change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new FPA processes and technologies within client organizations.

What we are looking for

• 9–14 years of experience in finance operations with at least 5 years focused on FPA processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis).
• 3+ years of management consulting or transformation project leadership experience.
• Proven track record of leading technology‑enabled finance transformation initiatives.
• At least one finance transformation initiative leveraging Large Language Models / Generative AI.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable FPA process improvements.
• Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
• MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience across multiple industries (manufacturing, technology, healthcare, financial services).
• Prior experience with Generative AI applications in finance and business process automation.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more EPM platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, OneStream, Oracle PBCS, SAP BPC).
• Strong data analytics capabilities using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R for financial modeling and visualization.
• Experience with AI/ML applications in finance, including predictive analytics, automated forecasting, and intelligent process automation.
• Database and data management knowledge, including SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CFA) preferred.
