Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 4–5 years in Consulting, FAO & Finance Transformation.
• Experience in deal solutioning, proposal support, or transformation design and outsourcing delivery models.
• Strong F&A domain expertise, analytics, and solution modeling abilities with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end F&A solutions across core processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, etc.).
• Lead pre-sales activities, RFP/RFQ responses, and workshops with clients.
• Develop pricing strategies, cost models, and business cases to ensure margin and profitability.
• Enable technology & automation within F&A offerings (ERP, RPA, analytics).
• Define governance, controls, risk, and transition plans for delivery.

F&A Solution Architect

Role Overview: The F&A Solutioning professional is responsible for designing end-to-end Finance & Accounting solutions, transformations and transitions for global clients. This is an individual contributor role which combines finance domain expertise, solution design, analytics, and consulting skills to deliver scalable, compliant, and value-driven F&A solutions during pre-sales, transformation, and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture Design end-to-end F&A solutions across core processes covering: Accounting & bookkeeping, Tax, Audit & Assurance to CPAs Payroll & Compliance services to CPA’s Record to Report (R2R) Procure to Pay (P2P) Order to Cash (O2C) FP&A Treasury & Cash Management Tax & Compliance (as applicable) Define target operating models (TOM) including: Process flows Service delivery model (Onshore / Offshore / Nearshore) Shared Services / GBS / Outsourcing structures Ensure alignment with client business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

2. Pre-Sales & Deal Support Lead or support RFP / RFQ / proposal responses for F&A engagements. Conduct solution workshops with clients to understand current-state challenges and transformation goals. Develop solution narratives, scope definitions, assumptions, and dependencies. Partner with sales, commercial, and delivery teams to shape winning proposal.

3. Commercial & Pricing Strategy Build cost models, pricing structures, and financial business cases (FTE-based, transaction based, outcome-based). Collaborate with finance and sales teams to ensure margin optimization and deal profitability. Define assumptions, volumes, ramp-ups, and productivity improvements. Support deal negotiations by articulating value, risks, and mitigation strategies. Ensure solutions meet margin, revenue, and risk thresholds

4. Technology & Automation Enablement Integrate digital and automation solutions into F&A offerings: ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday) RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) Analytics & reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) AI/ML use cases in finance (forecasting, anomaly detection) Collaborate with technology teams to ensure feasibility and scalability.

5. Compliance, Risk & Quality Ensure solutions comply with the required compliances, data privacy & security standards Define internal controls, audit trails, and quality frameworks. Identify delivery, transition, and operational risks and propose mitigation strategies.

6. Transition & Delivery Alignment Partner with transition and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and smooth handover post deal closure. Define transition approach, timelines, knowledge transfer, and stabilization plans. Identify delivery risks and define controls, SLAs, KPIs and governance frameworks.

7. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted advisor during client interactions, workshops, and solution presentations. Collaborate with sales leaders, account managers, and delivery heads.

8. Thought Leadership & Capability Building Contribute to solution frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets. Stay current on industry trends, accounting standards, automation, and outsourcing best practices.

Required Skills

Qualified Chartered Accountant 4-5 years of experience into Consulting, FAO & Finance Transformation roles. Hands on exposure into deal solutioning, proposal support, or transformation design with an understanding of Outsourcing delivery models. The role requires deep F&A domain expertise, analytical thinking, and solution modeling skills and working closely with sales, commercial, technology, and delivery teams to craft scalable and compliant solutions Automation and digital transformation exposure Ability to work in fast-paced, deal-driven environments
