Job summary

Naukripay group is seeking an Export Accountant to manage international financial records, trade finance, and regulatory compliance for global shipping and sales operations. The role covers AR/AP, LC/DP/DA, TT payments, FX management, and GST/tax filings.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of accounting experience with EXIM operations, proficiency in MS Excel and Tally/SAP/QuickBooks, and familiarity with Incoterms and customs documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or International Business.
• 2–5 years experience in general accounting with EXIM operations.
• Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency in enterprise accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR/AP for international clients, agents and overseas vendors.
• Process LC, DP/DA and TT payments; monitor trade finance activities.
• Oversee Forex transactions and multi-currency reconciliation.
• Ensure GST/tax filings, export incentives and customs documentation accuracy.
• Monitor shipping costs, freight, logistics and demurrage to control budgets.

Export Accountant manages the financial records, trade finance, and regulatory compliance for a company's international shipping and global sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable for international clients, agents, and overseas vendors.


• Trade Finance: Process and oversee specialized payment methods like Letters of Credit (LC), Documentary Collections (DP/DA), and telegraphic transfers (TT).


• Foreign Currency: Manage foreign exchange (Forex) transactions, monitor currency fluctuations, and reconcile multi-currency bank accounts.


• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure accurate processing of export incentives, GST/tax filings, e-BRC (Bank Realization Certificate), and custom duty structures.


• Cost Tracking: Monitor international shipping, freight, logistics, and demurrage expenses to keep shipping budgets on track.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com), or International Business.


• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in general accounting combined with EXIM (Export-Import) operations.


• Software Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel and enterprise accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks.


• Knowledge Base: Familiarity with global trade terms (Incoterms), banking realizations, and customs documentation.
