Job summary

Rotomaker seeks an experienced Accounts Manager/Accountant Export & E-commerce to manage day-to-day accounting for an export-oriented e-commerce business. The role covers foreign currency receipts, export documentation, and reconciliation of invoices, payments, and bank statements.

Responsibilities include handling ICEGATE transactions, FedEx invoices, and ensuring compliance with GST/TDs for exports, while coordinating with banks and logistics partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce accounting and export accounting.
• Hands-on with foreign currency transactions and USD receipts.
• Practical knowledge of ICEGATE and export documentation.
• Experience handling FedEx/international courier invoices and shipping-related expenses.

Job Profile / Requirement

Position: Accounts Manager/ Accountant / Accounts Executive Export & E-commerce

We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Accounts Executive with hands-on exposure to e-commerce accounting, export transactions, foreign currency receipts/payments and logistics documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping of an e-commerce/export business.
• Accounting and reconciliation of foreign currency (USD) sales receipts and other forex transactions.
• Handling export sales invoices, shipping documents and export-related accounting.
• Working knowledge of ICEGATE for export-related transactions and documentation.
• Verification and accounting of FedEx / courier bills, freight charges, customs-related charges and other export expenses.
• Reconciliation of e-commerce orders, sales invoices, customer receipts and bank receipts.
• Downloading/reconciling sales and transaction reports from e-commerce online portals/marketplaces.
• Tracking individual export shipments and matching sales invoices, shipping documents, courier bills and foreign currency receipts.
• Bank reconciliation, customer reconciliation and foreign currency reconciliation.
• Accounting for exchange rate differences, forex gains/losses and related bank charges.
• Coordination with courier/logistics agencies, banks and internal teams for export documentation and payment reconciliation.
• Assistance in GST, TDS, export-related compliance and month-end/year-end closing.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in e-commerce accounting and export accounting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with foreign currency transactions and USD receipts.
• Practical knowledge of ICEGATE and export documentation.
• Experience handling FedEx / international courier invoices and shipping-related expenses.
• Ability to work with e-commerce portals and download/reconcile order and sales reports.
• Good knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel and banking transactions.
• Strong reconciliation and documentation skills.
• Candidate should be comfortable handling the complete accounting cycle of an export-oriented e-commerce business.

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates with 5-15 years of relevant experience in e-commerce exports / international sales / export accounting / logistics accounting will be preferred.

Important: This is a hands-on role. Candidates should have practical experience in export/e-commerce transaction processing, forex receipts, ICEGATE, courier documentation and reconciliation, rather than only general accounting experience.
