Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to analyze and debug customer issues across BY Planning solutions.
• Work with cross‑functional teams (Product Development, Consulting, Cloud Services) to design and enhance solutions.
• Serve as primary user support during steady‑state periods, ensuring system functionality and data integrity.
• Respond to system alerts and provide 24x7/ weekend coverage during on‑call periods.
• Advise customers on industry best practices, process methodology and configuration of BY solutions (IO, OP, S&OP, FP, SCP, ESP, Demand, Fulfilment) to improve business processes.
• Identify root cause and propose permanent solutions for incidents or requested changes.
• Implement monitoring, performance tuning and operational best practices to optimize the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 4‑13 years of IT experience with strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, data structures.
• Experience with BY SCPO and Manufacturing Planning suite of products.
• Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL, basic BY data workflow, and installation of BY products.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on debugging/analysis skills in programming languages (e.g., Java) and familiarity with next‑gen tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, MuleSoft, Python, AI/ML, Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, root cause analysis, testing and proposal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, 24x7 environment and collaborate across teams.
