Qualifications

• Skills: Knowledge of Duty Drawback, RoDTEP, EPCG and related schemes.
• Certifications: International trade or logistics certification an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RoDTEP, Duty Drawback and EPCG documents to ensure regulatory compliance for imports/exports.
• Prepare customs documents for imports of raw materials and exports of finished products; arrange insurance when needed.
• Communicate with authorities to track and secure license approvals in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, port authorities and marketing to track cross-border material movement.
• Consult with customs agents to ease shipment passage through borders.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize cross-border movement and timely delivery.

Job description

Roles & Responsibility:

1. 1. Prepare documents for obtaining RodTep and Duty Drawback for exports and EPCG for imports so that company meets all the legal requirements of doing business - related imports
   and exports.
2. 2. Prepare customs-related documents for all imports of raw materials and exports of finished product to ascertain full compliance to applicable laws; Prepare insurance documents, wherever necessary.
3. 3. Undertake communication and follow-up with various authorities to track and ensure timely approval of licenses for company.
4. 4. Undertake communication with various parties such as suppliers, shipment vendors, port authorities and company Marketing team to track material movement within and across borders.
5. 5. Consult with customs agents, as and when needed, to ease passage of shipments through the borders.
6. 6. Ensure efficient and timely packaging of material for exports, by coordinating with the Marketing Team of company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 1. Strategic Planning:
   - Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize import-export processes and ensure
   compliance with relevant regulations.
   - Evaluate market trends and identify opportunities to expand the company's international trade
   activities.
2. 2. Compliance and Regulation:
   - Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations, including Duty Drawback, RoDTEP, Advance
   Licenses, EPCG, and other trade-related policies.
   - Stay updated on changes in import-export laws and communicate updates to relevant
   stakeholders.
3. 3. Documentation:
   - Oversee the preparation and verification of all import-export documents, including invoices,
   shipping documents, and certificates of origin.
   - Ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation to customs authorities.
