Job summary

Titan Company in Bengaluru seeks a creative Visual Merchandising Lead to own VM across stores, translating campaigns into impactful displays and fixtures. Lead design, production-ready files, and execution guidelines, ensuring brand consistency and cost-effective solutions.

You will collaborate with marketing, retail, and regional teams, manage vendor relationships, costings, and timelines, and travel to stores and markets as needed to ensure high-quality VM implementations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of VM elements, retail collaterals, displays, fixtures, communication materials, and in-store branding.
  • Create and adapt designs for different store formats, sizes, locations, and execution requirements.
  • Develop layouts, artwork adaptations, production-ready files, and execution guidelines for VM implementation.
  • Ensure consistency of brand identity and visual standards across all stores.
  • Bring innovative ideas and new visual concepts that enhance the customer experience and improve in-store visibility.
  • Work closely with marketing, retail, and regional teams to translate campaigns into effective VM executions.
  • Understand and apply the 4 Ps of retail marketing – Product, Price, Place, and Promotion – while developing VM strategies and solutions.
  • Have strong knowledge of VM materials, substrates, printing techniques, fabrication methods, fixtures, and production processes.
  • Explore and evaluate new, innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective VM materials and execution techniques.
  • Prepare and evaluate costing for VM elements and ensure solutions are commercially viable.
  • Work closely with vendors on quotations, negotiations, sampling, production, quality, timelines, and installation.
  • Establish robust processes, SOPs, checklists, approval mechanisms, and execution controls for VM activities.
  • Develop clear VM guidelines and execution manuals to enable consistent implementation across stores.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure VM elements are executed correctly, on time, and as per approved designs.
  • Monitor store-level execution and identify gaps in display standards, quality, and brand consistency.
  • Establish mechanisms for execution tracking, photographic reporting, audits, corrective actions, and closure.
  • Work closely with regional and store teams to resolve execution challenges quickly and practically.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of VM execution, including budgets, quotations, purchase processes, work orders, and vendor documentation.
  • Be comfortable working on SAP and managing relevant commercial transactions.
  • Coordinate with finance and internal teams for invoice verification and clearance against completed works.
  • Ensure vendor payments are supported by proper documentation, approvals, and proof of execution.
  • Maintain appropriate records of VM projects, costs, vendors, and execution status.
  • Strong Visual Merchandising and retail design expertise.
  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking.

VM Materials, Production & Costing
  • Have strong knowledge of VM materials, substrates, printing techniques, fabrication methods, fixtures, and production processes.
  • Explore and evaluate new, innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective VM materials and execution techniques.
  • Prepare and evaluate costing for VM elements and ensure solutions are commercially viable.

Vendor Management

  • Conduct regular vendor evaluations and identify opportunities for better quality, cost efficiency, and innovation.
  • Continuously explore and onboard new vendors and production capabilities.

Work Experience

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and hands-on Visual Merchandising Lead who will own the design, development, planning, and execution of Visual Merchandising (VM) across all stores, with minimum 3 to 4 years of experience.

The ideal candidate will combine strong visual and design skills with commercial understanding, vendor management capabilities, and excellent execution discipline. The role requires someone who can translate brand and retail marketing objectives into impactful, practical, and commercially viable VM solutions while ensuring consistent execution across the retail network.
