Job summary

Lenexis Foodworks is seeking a Training Delivery & Onboarding professional to lead onboarding for new team members across stores and ensure high standards of service. You will conduct hands-on training for food assembly, kitchen equipment operation, and POS usage, while promoting upselling and customer service excellence.

Certifying staff on local food safety regulations (HACCP), portion control, and SOS optimization will be key.

Qualifications

• Experience as a trainer or store manager in QSR.
• Experience with food safety compliance and HACCP.
• Willingness to travel between stores in the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding sessions for new team members, cashiers, kitchen staff, and shift managers.
• Provide hands-on training for food assembly, kitchen equipment operation and POS systems.
• Train staff on upselling techniques and customer service excellence.
• Certify staff on local food safety regulations, HACCP and personal hygiene rules.
• Teach portion control methods to minimize waste and manage costs.
• Improve speed-of-service to meet drive-thru and counter ticket goals.

• Conduct regular store audits to score performance and compliance.

Training Delivery & Onboarding

• Lead onboarding sessions for new team members, cashiers, kitchen staff, and shift managers.
• Conduct hands-on training for food assembly, kitchen equipment operation, and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Train staff on upselling techniques and customer service excellence to maximize daily sales.

Operations & Food Safety Compliance

• Certify all staff on local food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and personal hygiene rules.
• Teach strict portion control methods to minimize food waste and manage food costs.
• Train teams on speed-of-service (SOS) optimization to meet drive-thru and counter ticket time goals.

Curriculum & Content Development

• Update standard operating procedures (SOPs), recipe cards, and training manuals as the menu evolves.
• Create engaging training materials, including video tutorials, checklists, and quizzes.
• Implement digital learning management systems (LMS) for remote or self-paced staff training.

Evaluation & Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular, unannounced store audits to score staff performance and compliance.
• Identify operational gaps in low-performing stores and launch targeted retraining programs.
• Track and report training metrics, such as time-to-productivity and compliance pass rates.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a trainer or store manager within QSR chain.
• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelors degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality
• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently between different store locations within the assigned region.
