Job summary

D Kumar Group is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee procurement, storage, and distribution across our operations in Assam. You will ensure real-time stock tracking, accuracy, and timely reporting to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years in inventory or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, and solid ERP skills. You will lead a small team, mentor staff, and drive SOP improvements to optimize cost and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to train and mentor team members.
• Proficient with ERP systems and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time inventory records with 24-hour updates.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports for senior management.
• Update SOPs every six months.
• Ensure 99% stock record accuracy and 100% availability of critical items.
• Oversee procurement, storage, and distribution processes.

• Inventory Database Management:
• Ensure accurate updates to the inventory database within 24 hours of stock movement to maintain real-time tracking.
• Record Accuracy:
• Maintain error-free inventory records with 100% accuracy, ensuring reliable data for decision-making.
• Discrepancy Investigation and Correction:
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory records and initiate corrective actions within 48 hours to resolve issues promptly.
• Inventory Reporting:
• Present monthly inventory status reports to senior management, providing insights into stock levels, discrepancies, and trends.
• SOP Updates:
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory management and audits every six months to reflect process improvements and changes.
• Stock Record Accuracy:
• Ensure 99% accuracy in stock records compared to physical inventory counts to minimize discrepancies.
• Critical Stock Availability:
• Maintain a 100% availability rate for critical stock items, ensuring no disruptions in operations due to stock shortages.
• Order Fulfillment:
• Achieve 95% on-time and complete order fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient supply chain operations.
• Data Validation and Quality Control:
• Implement and maintain data validation checks for database entries to ensure the quality and integrity of inventory data.
• Inventory Cost Management:
• Monitor and control inventory holding costs to ensure they remain within the allocated budget and avoid excess costs.
• Procurement and Distribution Oversight:
• Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution processes to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of inventory.
