Job summary

StrainX Bioworks in Bhopal is seeking a Stores/Inventory professional to support day-to-day material management at our Tamot plant. You will learn our systems, handle receiving, GRNs/MRNs, stock records and collaborate with production and finance teams.

The role requires 3–4 years in stores or inventory within manufacturing, strong MS Excel skills, and a quick, responsible learner ready to work on-site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive purchased materials and check quantities against orders and invoicing.
• Prepare GRNs, MRNs and related store documents.
• Issue materials against requests and keep records clean.
• Maintain inventory records, stock registers and MIS sheets.
• Track stock levels and flag replenishment needs to Purchase.
• Check bills and invoices with Accounts and Purchase.
• Support physical stock checks and resolve differences.
• Store materials with proper labeling and traceability.
• Prepare MIS reports on stock balances and movement.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and Accounts.
• Keep stores area clean and in line with procedures.

StrainX Bioworks is a growing nutraceutical manufacturing company. Our manufacturing plant is near Plastic Park, Tamot, Tehsil Goharganj. Our R&D center is in Bengaluru and our head office is in Bhopal.

About the role

Our Stores team is growing. We are looking for a quick learner with 3 to 4 years of stores or inventory experience who can pick up our processes fast and take ownership. You will work with the Manager, Stores, get trained on our systems, and move to handling day-to-day stores work on your own.

What you will do

• Receive purchased materials and check quantities against purchase orders, invoices and delivery challans
• Prepare GRNs, MRNs and related documents
• Issue materials against approved requests and keep clean records
• Maintain inventory records, stock registers and MIS sheets
• Track stock levels and flag replenishment needs to Purchase
• Check bills and invoices, and work with Accounts and Purchase to get them processed
• Support physical stock checks and resolve any differences
• Make sure all materials are stored, labeled and traceable
• Prepare MIS reports on stock balances, receipts, issues and movement
• Work with Production, Quality, Purchase and Accounts to keep the plant running smoothly
• Keep the stores area clean, well documented and in line with company procedures

What we are looking for

• MBA, BBA, B.Com or Engineering graduate (a Materials or Supply Chain qualification is a plus)
• 3 to 4 years in stores, inventory or material management, ideally in manufacturing
• Hands‑on experience with GRN, MRN, inventory control and stock reconciliation
• Good with MS Excel. ERP or inventory software experience is a plus
• Quick learner who wants to take on responsibility
• Organized, detail‑minded and good at working with other teams
• Able to work on‑site at our Tamot plant
