Job Summary
The Inventory & Stores Executive is responsible for managing inventory accuracy, ensuring timely material availability for production, and maintaining proper documentation and system updates. The role also involves coordination with production teams and adherence to 5S and Kaizen practices for.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate physical vs system inventory at all times
- Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation
- Ensure proper bin card updating for all materials
- Handle and support stock audits
- Ensure timely material issue to production lines
- Coordinate with Gluing and RM Stores for arranging core and raw materials for assembly and roll packing
- Follow up on job work materials to ensure availability
- Inward & Documentation
- Manage material inward process
- Verify and maintain all inward documents
- Submit required documents to accounts for supplier payments
- Production Support
- Support production in achieving assembly and roll packing targets
- Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules
- System & Process Compliance
- Perform consumption entry in SAP as per actual usage
- Ensure system vs physical inventory accuracy at all times
- Implement and maintain 5S standards in the store area
- Participate in and drive Kaizen activities for process improvement
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of 5S and Kaizen principles
