Job summary

DentCare Dental Lab PVT. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional to manage import purchasing and day-to-day buying of goods and services. The role emphasizes end-to-end procurement, supplier evaluation, and cross-department collaboration to ensure timely deliveries.

Candidate will work with multiple departments, maintain MIS reports, and support audits while ensuring integrity and compliance in all purchasing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in import purchasing and procurement.
• Knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes across NES/Engineering/Construction/National/Import/Vehicle/Canteen/IT.

Responsibilities

• Focus on buying goods, materials, and services for daily company operations.
• Verify PR authorization from production director before store purchase of raw material or equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs using SAP.
• Place enquiries with suppliers for best rates and sample materials.
• Verify PI details with suppliers: quantity, quality, price, lead time, and payment terms.
• Obtain approvals from HOD and CMD before placing orders.
• Research potential vendors and track orders for timely delivery.
• Maintain order records and daily MIS reports for HOD.
• Support auditing activities and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Communicate effectively with all departments and be flexible with extra hours when needed.

Role & responsibilities

• Job purpose is to focus on buying goods, materials, and services for the daily running of the company.
• Complete knowledge on the end to end process of NES/ Engineering/ Construction/ National/ Import/ Vehicle/ Canteen/ IT purchase activities.
• Verify the PR for duly authorization from production director (competent authority) while its been received from the store dept. for purchasing a row material or equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs after checking the stock consumption details in the SAP system.
• Placing enquiry with suppliers for best rate
• Placing sample enquiry and purchase of sample materials.
• Do verification of the PI from the suppliers regarding the quantity, quality, price and lead time of the shipment and the payment terms as well.
• Take approval from HOD and CMD for placing the order.
• Research potential vendors
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Update internal database with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts etc.)
• Daily MIS report sharing to HOD.
• Assisting in auditing activities
• Maintain strong working relationships with current vendors.
• Effectively maintain open communication with Suppliers.
• Work with and communicate with all departments in a pleasant and positive manner.
• Need to work on extra hours/ holidays to complete the assigned duties on time.
• Enforces and monitors company guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Conduct all activities related to the purchase with integrity and secured manner.
• Maintain a very good working environment along with colleagues and superiors.
• Adapt to the diverse needs of the team and address internal and external requirements with flexibility and creativity.
