Job summary

PSA BDP seeks an experienced import documentation professional in Mumbai to prepare checklists, manage FTA shipments, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have 5–10 years in import documentation, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with LogiSys ERP systems. Knowledge of audits and EDI tooling is a plus for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate qualification; relevant logistics/export-import experience preferred.
• 5–10 years of import documentation and checklist preparation experience.
• Working knowledge of LogiSys software is required.
• Familiarity with customs, trade compliance, and FTA concepts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare import checklists and ensure all required documents are in place.
• Manage Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and licensed shipments.
• Audit import documentation against regulations and SOPs.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with teams for resolution.
• File Bills of Entry and handle E-Sanchit processes (preferred).

Job Description

• Preparation of import checklists and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place
• Managing Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and licensed shipments.
• Audit import documentation checklists to ensure compliance with customs regulations and internal SOPs
• Identify discrepancies, missing documents, or errors and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Preparation of import checklists and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place ((preferable knowledge)
• Filing of Bill of Entry and handling E-Sanchit processes (preferable knowledge).
• In-depth knowledge of customs tariffs and classification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for documentation and reporting.
