Job summary

Connexio in Surat is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to drive revenue through branding, space sales, events and sponsorships, while coordinating with vendors and CSR initiatives.

You will manage the mall’s online presence, content, social media and PR, and integrate online activities with offline promotions; report MIS, market intelligence and drive guest engagement.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in retail community centre / marketing.
• MBA or equivalent degree in marketing, retail or related fields.

Job description

Revenue generation through branding & SOH

• Ensure revenue generation through Signage space selling, space on hire, branding revenues, co-branding and sponsorships etc.
• Ensure allotted sales target are achieved through cold calling, corporate tie-up, references etc.
• Exploring potential business avenues to penetrate new accounts and expanding existing clientele; negotiating and finalizing terms & rates.

Event / promotions Management

• Adhere to the marketing SOP guidelines;
• Assist in execution of the events as per the Marketing calendar;
• Coordinate with various vendors (Event Production, Mall Dcor, and Printing) and make sure all requirements of the event(s) are met within the stipulated time frame;
• Drive sponsorships and other revenues for planned events;
• Implement various CSR initiative as directed;
• Ensure communication solutions for all events and guest service promotions which includes up-dating mall guides, directory boards and general guest services literature;
• Ensure the Gift Card program or any loyalty card programs are smoothly running at the mall.

Online Marketing, internal / external marketing communication and PR

• Ensure content improvement of the mall website as directed and manage the website content as directed;
• Responsible for managing social media assets of the center’s;
• Development of the e-newsletters from the website as directed;
• Incorporate online activities with offline marketing promotions;
• Work effectively with internal departments esp. leasing, sub-brands and guest services to ensure optimum business effectiveness and information is communicated around the business units – new store openings, launches, events, changes to procedures, staff newsletters;
• Execute PR activities as directed, ensure timely press material preparation and arranging press conferences.

MIS, Reporting

• Analysis of the efficacy of the marketing programme;
• Weekly / Monthly presentation to the management on overall marketing management;
• Ensure research data is available to enable the management to devise new marketing strategies and attract customers with unique value propositions;
• Market intelligence and competitor analysis.
