Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Generate business through dealers, distributors and retail counters.
- Identify new channel partners and expand outlet coverage.
- Support market penetration and secondary sales growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors and retailers.
- Ensure order booking, stock movement and timely collections.
- Track scheme implementation, claims and sell‑through performance.
- Manage stockists and ensure adequate inventory availability.
Market Execution & Visibility
- Execute in‑shop branding, displays, product visibility and retail activations.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights.
Territory Operations & Reporting
- Maintain customer database and visit plan / beat plan.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.
- Track sales performance, market gaps and channel performance metrics.
- Support local promotional and trade engagement activities.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Build strong relations with key trade partners and influencers.
- Handle queries, service escalation and ensure customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Channel Sales, preferably in Electrical / Consumer Electricals / Switchgear / Lighting / Wires & Cables.
- Secondary sales & retail execution.
- Territory coverage & field coordination.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Disciplined, process‑oriented and target‑driven.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Fluency in English, Hindi and local regional language.
