Job summary

Abbott India is seeking an Executive Packaging Development on a contractual basis at their Mumbai site (BKC). The role focuses on completing packaging development activities in line with company policies, creating artworks, and managing documentation for domestic, export, and import products.

Responsibilities include artwork circulation for approvals, BOM creation, field-pack benchmarking documentation, barcode/code maintenance, and regular updates to the packaging database.

Qualifications

Graduate in packaging technology.
PG in packaging technology or equivalent qualification.
Experience in packaging development and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

Arrange documents from Site & TPM planning and Marketing to create artworks.
Create artworks with inputs for domestic, export and import products.
Circulate artworks for approval per policy and issue artworks for printing and proofing to Purchase.
Create & distribute Packaging BOM and packing method.
Collect new packs during field work and document them with benchmarking details.
Create and maintain barcode and artwork code files.
Update approved packaging documents in the packaging database.
Review packaging rules and regulations periodically.

QUALIFICATION:Graduate + PG packaging Technology

EXPERINCE: 2+ Years

DIVISION:EPO – Supply chain

To complete the documentation and developmental activities in packaging development within the procedures and policies of the Company.

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE

Arrangement of documents from Site & TPM planning and Marketing to create artworks
Creation of Artworks with all the necessary inputs for domestic, export and import products
Circulation of artworks for approval as per Policy and Procedure and issuance of artworks for printing and proofing to Purchase
Creation & distribution of Packaging BOM and packing method
Collection of new packs during field works and creation of report with the technical description of the new packs by benchmarking process
Creation and maintenance of Barcode and artwork code file
Updation of all approved packaging documents to packaging database in shared folder
Periodic review of Packaging rules and regulation for any updates
