Job summary

Beauty & Personal Care Industry in Okhla, Delhi is seeking a Packaging Executive with 3-4 years of experience. The role covers end-to-end packaging material development across laminates, cartons, labels, containers and caps, plus cost-effective vendor coordination and artwork development.

You will manage compliance with Indian norms and export standards while driving process improvements and cost optimization in packaging operations.

Qualifications

• Packaging knowledge and understanding of packaging materials (laminate, carton, label sleeve, container, bottle, caps).
• Vendor coordination and cost optimization awareness for packaging projects.
• Artwork development workflow, line drawing and shade card approval processes.
• Compliant packaging with Indian norms; awareness of export country norms and Food Safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Packaging material development from conception to industrialization for expected packaging components.
• Coordinate with vendors for PM planning, orders, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and approve artwork, ensuring key line drawings and shade cards meet permissible limits.
• Ensure packaging materials comply with Indian standards and relevant export country regulations.

KRA

1. Packaging Material Development

• To handle the entire process of Packaging material development from the stage of conceptualization to industrialization (Laminate, carton, label sleeve, container, bottle, caps, Moulds etc.) .Ensure to Packaging material Functionality and Behavior (Storage study behaviour, impact of other environmental factors on the packaging material)..Monitoring the local process packaging material and making it more efficient, smart.

2. Vendor Coordination, Development & Costing

• Dealing with vendors for PM planning and execution of orders. To deliver Business competitiveness looking for opportunities regarding suppliers or competitors best practices.

3. Artwork Development & Approval

• Work on complete process flow of generation and development of artwork including issuing of key line drawing, shade card approval under permissible limits

4. Compliance Management

• Ensuring compliance of the packaging material with respect to the Indian norms and studying the export countries norms and complying with them by considering Food Safety complete handling of art work activity from the stage of conceptualization to industrialization. Specification and compliance generating new ideas for cost optimization projects Identification and implementation with adhered timelines Creation.
