Job summary

PSA BDP, a member of the PSA Group, is seeking a detail-oriented logistics support professional in Mumbai. The role focuses on updating job files in Meridian, preparing necessary shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with Customer SOPs.

The incumbent will manage data updates, draft HBL/FCR and debit notes after customs clearance, print BLs, and maintain comprehensive job files. Strong Excel and transport software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 2 years' experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Proficient in MS Office and transport management software.
• Strong data entry and document handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Update data in Meridian and prepare documents.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and area processes.
• Update all fields in Meridian upon receiving job files from operations.
• Prepare draft copies of HBL/FCR and debit notes after customs clearance.
• Print BL upon BL approval and maintain all job files.
• Enter vendors' debit note details in Meridian and hand over to Accounts.
• Upload documents in Meridian as required.
• Follow special instructions per SOP.

Job Description

• Responsible for updating data in Meridian & Preparation of Documents.
• Ensure compliance with the standard area operating processes and Customer SOPs.
• On receipt of Job file from Operation, will have to update all the available fields in Meridian.
• Prepare draft copy of HBL/FCR & Debit Note after custom clearance.
• On receipt of BL approval, print the BL
• Maintain all the documents in the Job file.
• Enter Vendors debit note details in Meridian and handover to Accounts.
• upload documents in Meridian.
• Special instruction as per SOP needs to follow by each user.

• Graduate in any stream
• 2 years of demonstrated experience of Freight forwarding and Logistics operations
• High standard of computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications and relevant transport management applications.
