Job summary

Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd (The Times Of India) is seeking a night-shift logistics professional to manage end-to-end distribution, inventory, and warehouse operations. You will ensure timely dispatch and optimal stock levels while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Experience in night operations, SAP/ERP, and DMS is preferred. The role requires strong data handling and process compliance in a fast-paced media distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 3–8 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or related fields.
• Experience in night operations, distribution, warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations is required.
• Hands-on in inventory management, warehouse operations, dispatch and order management.
• Must be proficient with SAP / ERP systems and DMS.

Job description

Role:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing and overseeing end-to-end night-time distribution and operations, ensuring timely dispatch, optimum inventory levels, efficient warehouse management and seamless delivery of products/services within defined timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Graduate with 3-8 years of exeprience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or related fields will be an advantage.
• Must have relevant experience in night operations, distribution, warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Experience in Media, FMCG, Publishing, Logistics, E-commerce, Retail or other time-sensitive distribution environments will be preferred.
• Prior experience managing night-shift operations and time-bound distribution is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, dispatch and order management.
• Working knowledge of SAP / ERP systems and Distributor Management Systems (DMS).
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and operational MIS.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and operational transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to work in night shifts and rotational schedules, as required.
