Job summary

Asian Paints seeks a Retailing Operations professional to manage panel installations, store layouts, and vendor partnerships across multiple stores. You will coordinate purchasing, production planning, and installations, ensuring timely execution and cost-efficient display solutions.

The role involves market visits, SOP development, and cross-functional collaboration with sales teams to maintain retailing standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Panel installation at dealer stores within defined geography
• Maintain and manage panel stock at distributor basis as per sales plan
• Dispatch and install panels within 15 days of dealer opening
• Enable product installation at sub dealers via local installers
• Send monthly retailing reports
• Create SOP guidelines for retailing execution for teams/vendors
• Adapt designs for different store categories and display elements
• Execute store setups within area
• Ensure timelines from request to handover are met
• Propose cost-effective design solutions for displays
• Support exhibitions, dealer meets and product launches for retailing displays
• Visit markets to understand issues and propose solutions
• Inspect customized stores pre- and post-installation
• Meet vendors quarterly for process improvements and new solutions
• Create and release POs within 1 day of approval
• Maintain expense and budget trackers; ensure vendor bill settlements
• Maintain retailing trackers and related reports
• Identify local vendors in each state for product and panel installation
• Plan local installers team routes based on monthly requests
• Identify and onboard vendors capable of servicing the area on time

Job Purpose

• Manage Retailing Operations and logistics
• Manage one Division completely and report to retailing manager
• Purchasing, coordinating production and installations
• Products selection and planogram preparations
• Agency contracts and negotiations
• Cross-Functional team & vendor Partnerships considering 500 stores retailing
• Managing Visual display standards as per the retailing guidelines
• Maintaining Commercial hygiene & documenting

Retailing Execution

• Ensuring panel installation at dealer stores in defined geography.
• Maintaining and managing panel stock at the distributor basis plan received from sales team.
• Ensuring that the panels are dispatched and installed within 15 days of dealer opening.
• Enabling product installation at the sub dealers through local installer.
• Sending report on retailing every month.
• Creating a detailed SOP guideline for retailing execution to be shared with the teams and vendors.
• Adaptation of design for different category of stores, introducing new display elements
• Execution of the stores in area.
• Ensuring timelines are met for execution- Receiving request to final handover.
• Coming up with cost effective solutions for the design.
• Handling Exhibition, dealer meets and Product launches Retailing display

Market visit and reporting

• Visiting the market to understand specific issues and suggesting solutions.
• Visiting all the customized stores, pre and post installation.
• Visiting all the vendors once every quarter for process improvement and finding new solutions.

Commercial hygiene and reporting

• Creating and releasing POs within 1 day of approval
• Maintaining Expense and Budget tracker report
• Ensuring vendor bills settlement.
• Maintaining Retailing tracker and all the relevant trackers

New Vendor Identification

• Identifying local vendors in each state for product and panel installation.
• Planning the local installers team and their route basis each month's request.
• Identifying and setting up new vendor with capability to service area within the suggested timelines
