Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store is seeking a proactive Production Planning specialist to drive manufacturing planning, MRP, and SAP PP data maintenance. You will collaborate with Marketing, Design, Purchase, Production, and QA to ensure on-time production and optimal inventory control.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint planning, MIS reporting, and experience with SAP S4 HANA PP. Join a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Production planning and scheduling experience.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint planning skills.
• Experience with MIS reporting and data visualization.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Experience with SAP PP module and master data management (BOM, routing).

Responsibilities

• Finalize and release manufacturing plans to meet sales/market demand with a 1 month firm and 2 month tentative horizon.
• Obtain forecasts from marketing and align with purchasing.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Design, Purchase, Production and QA for smooth execution.
• Monitor material availability and manage operation constraints.
• Maintain SAP S4 HANA PP and MRP master data (BOM, routing, costing).
• Monitor MIS reports (daily production, dispatch, inventory, processes, personnel cost).
• Streamline systems and procedures for inventory control to meet production targets.
• Review long lead and import components with buyers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within operations.

• 1. Finalize & release Manufacturing Plan by which fulfil sales/Market demand (One Month firm & two month tentative) with commitment dates/Inspection dates by considering production capacity and Material availability.


• 2. Get the forecast from marketing & release it with the purchase function.


• 3. Coordination closely with various departments like Marketing, Design, Purchase, Production & QA team for smooth execution.


• 4. Monitor Material availability and manage operation constraints


• 5. Maintain SAP S4 HANA- PP and MRP related Master data like BOM, routing, material costing, Material Costing & Sales order costing.


• 6. Monitor various MIS, such as daily production, Dispatch reports, inventory, process, Process & personnel cost.


• 7. Streamline the systems and Procedures for effective inventory control, to ensure the availability of material to meet the production targets.


• 8. Review long lead, Import components with buyers.


• 9. Proficient in Management Presentation


• 10. Support continuous improvement initiatives within operations
