Job summary

ADB Kanvas is seeking a billing associate to manage restaurant and kitchen bills, operate POS systems, and coordinate with kitchen and accounts to ensure accurate transactions.

You will handle various payment methods, maintain daily sales records, and resolve billing queries with guests in a professional manner, following company policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process restaurant and kitchen bills accurately.
• Operate the POS/billing software for food and beverage orders.
• Enter KOTs (Kitchen Order Tickets) and coordinate with the kitchen team.
• Check food orders, quantities, rates, discounts, and taxes before generating bills.
• Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment methods.
• Maintain daily sales and collection records.
• Reconcile cash and digital payments at the end of each shift.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff, kitchen, reception, and accounts team regarding billing issues.
• Handle cancellations, discounts, complimentary orders, and corrections as per company policy.
• Maintain proper records of bills, KOTs, receipts, and payment transactions.
• Assist in preparing daily sales and billing reports.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and there are no billing discrepancies.
• Provide polite and professional assistance to guests regarding billing queries.
• Follow company procedures related to billing, cash handling, and financial controls.
