Job summary

Techture is seeking an IT Administrator & Jr. Data Centre Support Executive to manage IT infrastructure, provide system support, and oversee data centre operations.

You will ensure smooth IT operations, system security, and reliable network performance across the organisation. The role requires hands-on experience with Windows environments, basic networking, backups, virtualization, and ITIL-inspired processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Electronics or related field.
• 2+ years experience in IT support / system administration / basic data centre operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts, access rights, and systems (Email/Other Admin portals).
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Provide technical support to employees (L1/L2 support).
• Manage backups, antivirus, and security policies.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Handle ticketing systems and resolve issues within SLA.
• System Troubleshooting for Windows environments and network issues.
• Provide end-user support for Windows systems.
• Diagnose and resolve OS, application, and network issues.
• Configure user profiles and manage server/network cabling.
• Monitor servers, storage, and network devices.
• Manage UPS, power, cooling, and environment controls.
• Perform routine maintenance and health checks.
• Support disaster recovery and backup operations.
• Ensure compliance with data center security policies.

• Experience with servers (Windows), backups, and virtualization is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Experience in managing corporate IT infrastructure.
