Job summary

Kauvery Hospital in Chennai is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage and coordinate day-to-day hospital operations with a focus on Front Office / ER Operations, Floor Management, and OPD Operations. The candidate will be deployed to the area best suited to their previous experience, skill set, and interest.

The role involves monitoring patient flow, coordinating with Nursing, Billing, Diagnostics, Pharmacy and other departments to ensure timely service delivery and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing front office and ER operations in a hospital setting.
• Proven ability to coordinate floor operations and OPD workflows.
• Strong understanding of hospital SOPs and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Front Office / ER operations to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service delivery.
• Coordinate Floor Operations, including patient movement, discharge coordination, bed availability and interdepartmental communication.
• Support and manage OPD operations, including patient flow, appointment coordination and coordination with consultants and support departments.
• Monitor patient waiting time, service TAT and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Nursing, Billing, Diagnostics, Pharmacy and other departments for seamless patient care.
• Handle patient/attendant queries and support effective grievance resolution.
• Prepare and maintain basic operational reports and elevate critical issues to the reporting manager.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
