Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a skilled Facilities Maintenance professional to operate and maintain critical utility systems for a GMP-compliant production environment. You will manage boilers, chillers, HVAC, cooling towers, compressed air, PW/DM water, nitrogen, and vacuum systems to ensure uninterrupted production supply.

Responsibilities include preventive and breakdown maintenance, creating schedules and SOPs, and documenting activities to meet cGMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA and EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining utility systems in a GMP/compliant environment.
• Familiarity with cGMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, and EHS norms.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor utility parameters and ensure continuous, uninterrupted supply to production.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits; manage deviations, change controls, and CAPAs related to utilities and maintenance.

Job description

Operate and maintain utilities systems including:

• Boilers & Steam distribution
• Chillers & HVAC (AHU, HEPA, cleanroom utilities)
• Cooling towers
• Compressed air (process & instrument air)
• Purified Water (PW), DM Water, Soft water
• Nitrogen system, vacuum system
• Monitor utility parameters and ensure continuous, uninterrupted supply to production.

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Prepare and follow maintenance schedules, SOPs, and checklists.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues to minimize downtime.

GMP, Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, and EHS norms.
• Maintain equipment history cards, logbooks, calibration & maintenance records.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Handle deviations, change controls, and CAPA related to utilities & maintenance.
