Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a qualified professional to operate and maintain utilities systems in a Bengaluru-based facility. The role focuses on boilers, chillers, HVAC, water systems, nitrogen/vacuum, and ensuring continuous production readiness.

The candidate will plan preventive maintenance, follow SOPs and checklists, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime while maintaining cGMP, WHO-GMP, and US FDA compliance. Documentation and audits support are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining utility systems in a manufacturing or pharma setting.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Prepare and follow maintenance schedules, SOPs, and checklists.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure activities comply with cGMP, WHO-GMP, US FDA, and EHS norms.
• Maintain equipment history cards, logbooks, calibration & maintenance records.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Handle deviations, change controls, and CAPA related to utilities & maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utilities systems including boilers, steam distribution, chillers & HVAC (AHU, HEPA, cleanroom utilities), cooling towers, compressed air, PW/DM water, nitrogen and vacuum systems.
• Monitor utility parameters and ensure continuous, uninterrupted supply to production.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Prepare and follow maintenance schedules, SOPs, and checklists.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure GMP/compliance and maintain logs and calibration records.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Handle deviations, change controls, and CAPA related to utilities & maintenance.
