Engineering Executive
The Engineering Executive will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, utility operations, equipment reliability, documentation, and engineering compliance activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This involves preventive maintenance, breakdown support, plant equipment monitoring, vendor coordination, and adherence to GMP and safety standards. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem‑solving ability, and cross‑functional coordination skills to support uninterrupted production operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for production equipment and utilities.
- Monitor equipment performance, maintenance schedules, downtime, and engineering work orders.
- Ensure smooth operation of HVAC, water systems, compressors, boilers, chillers, and utility equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and utility‑related issues on the shop floor.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history cards, logbooks, checklists, and calibration coordination documents.
- Ensure engineering activities comply with GMP, SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate with production, QA, QC, and maintenance teams for equipment readiness and line clearance support.
- Plan manpower, tools, spares, and resources required for scheduled maintenance activities.
- Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of equipment and utility systems.
- Track repeated breakdowns and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service engineers for technical support and AMC activities.
- Monitor spare parts availability and support procurement planning for critical engineering items.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks, wear, safety risks, and maintenance improvement areas.
- Prepare maintenance MIS reports, utility performance updates, and engineering compliance summaries.
- Promote safe working practices and proper housekeeping across engineering work areas.
