Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Chennai seeks a maintenance professional to operate and maintain utilities systems including boilers, chillers, AHU, cooling towers, compressed air, PW/DM water, nitrogen, vacuum, and related systems. You will monitor parameters to ensure uninterrupted supply to production and support audits.

Role focuses on preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, with adherence to cGMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, and EHS norms, along with maintaining logs and records.

Qualifications

• GMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, and EHS norms exposure desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Prepare and follow maintenance schedules, SOPs, and checklists.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues to minimize downtime.

Job description

Operate and maintain utilities systems including:

• Boilers & Steam distribution
• Chillers & HVAC (AHU, HEPA, cleanroom utilities)
• Cooling towers
• Compressed air (process & instrument air)
• Purified Water (PW), DM Water, Soft water
• Nitrogen system, vacuum system
• Monitor utility parameters and ensure continuous, uninterrupted supply to production.

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Prepare and follow maintenance schedules, SOPs, and checklists.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility-related issues to minimize downtime.

GMP, Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, and EHS norms.
• Maintain equipment history cards, logbooks, calibration & maintenance records.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Handle deviations, change controls, and CAPA related to utilities & maintenance.
