Responsibilities

• Follow department SOPs and Quality system.
• Carry out pump mechanical seal servicing and assembly as required.
• Maintain safe working conditions and environmental practices.
• Monitor PPE usage and health safety provisions.
• Provide SHE training to operators and contract workers.
• Adhere to work permit systems and PPE usage.
• Observe and report unsafe acts or conditions and take corrective actions.
• Ensure environmental and EHS guidelines are followed.
• Keep facility up-keep and housekeeping maintained.

• Performing equipment preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Co-ordinate with E&M Executive/officers in shift to solve any maintenance problems.
• Documentation of work orders as prescribed.
• Follow the department SOP's and Quality system.
• Pump mechanical seal servicing and assembling work carried out.
• Ensure safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.
• Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.
• Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.
• Impart SHE training to operators, helpers and contract workers.
• Follow work permit system and PPE.
• Responsible for following Environmental guidelines, EHS guidelines
• Report any incident/accident/near miss/illness to the superiors.
