Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Manager - Mechanical to oversee API plant equipment maintenance, ensuring high uptime and timely modifications. The role requires hands-on CAPA execution, CAPEX planning, and strong team leadership to coordinate with QA, EHS, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to GMP, safety standards, and online documentation, with a focus on contractor management and timely, quality work. BE qualified with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in API plant equipment maintenance and uptime improvement.
• Familiarity with CAPA processes, QA & EHS alignment.
• Capex planning, estimation, and execution knowledge.
• Strong team leadership and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to develop and review GMP-compliant procedures and SOPs.
• Experience with EHS audits and related documentation.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Responsible for API plant equipment maintenance. Responsible for uptime of equipment, modifications, change overs.

• Responsible for Maintenance & modification works of API Plant equipment.
• Need to maintain uptime of plant equipment to meet production targets.
• Responsible for investigation and CAPA actions closure in alignment with QA & EHS.
• Should have knowledge in Capex preparations, Estimations, planning and Execution.
• Should have Good skills in team management.
• Should have very good collaboration skills with internal and external stake holders.
• Review & Develop procedures/ sop's to meet current GMP and safety standards.
• Comply with EHS Guidelines and Regulations.
• Should have knowledge in facing EHS & statutory Audits and related documentation.
• Should be good in contractor management, Bills verification.
