Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is recruiting for a Technician - E&M to support preventive maintenance and environmental safety within our E&M team in India. You will coordinate with E&M executives to resolve maintenance issues, document work orders, and ensure adherence to SOPs and quality systems.

The role emphasizes safe working conditions, PPE usage, incident reporting, and upkeep of the facility in a GMP-driven environment. Proficiency in electrical/mechanical tasks is required.

Responsibilities

• Performing equipment preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Co-ordinate with E&M Executive/officers in shift to solve any maintenance problems.
• Documentation of work orders as prescribed.
• Follow the department SOP's and Quality system.
• Pump mechanical seal servicing and assembling work carried out.
• Ensure safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.
• Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.
• Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.
• Impart SHE training to operators, helpers and contract workers.
• Follow work permit system and PPE.
• Responsible for following Environmental guidelines, EHS guidelines
• Report any incident/accident/near miss/illness to the superiors.
• Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report to superiors.
• Responsible for Up-keep for facility.
