Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Senior Executive-Engineering to lead electrical maintenance and utility support across our site. You will oversee plant electrical systems, panels, and generators, ensuring safe, compliant operation and timely maintenance.

• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance of equipment and utilities
• Experience with electrical installation & panels
• Knowledge of plant electrical systems, instruments and machines

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering group and provide immediate support for utilities and electrical maintenance.
• Handle shift operations of utilities and complete required SOP documentation.
• Ensure efficient, uninterrupted operation and upkeep of utilities and plant equipment.
• Maintain diesel generating sets and substations.
• Develop skills and efficiency per company requirements.
• Mentor new electricians for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Prevent machine stoppages due to manpower or electrical breakdowns.
• Allocate work to maintenance staff across shifts.
• Ensure no machine stoppages due to manpower shortages.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance per SOP.
• Comply with regulatory, safety and statutory engineering requirements.
• Monitor unauthorized movement of workers and support supervisor in absence.
• Create purchase requisitions in SAP.
• Maintain awareness of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 13485 standards.
• Follow regulations of agencies like USFDA, EU, TGA, MHRA, ANVISA, WHO.
• Participate in qualification and requalification of equipment; support calibration.
• Participate in DMS, OE and EHS activities and related processes.
• Execute project and area renovation works.
• Identify energy conservation opportunities and optimize energy use.
• Keep the Engineering Manager informed of maintenance activities.

Job Description

Good knowledge of Electrical Maintenance of equipment, utilities, Electrical installation & panels, operation, setting and repairing/maintenance of plant electrical system, instruments and machines.

Key Roles/Responsibilities

• To work as a group leader and responsible for providing immediate engineering support for utilities and electrical maintenance.
• To handle the shift operation of the utility of utilities and complete related documentation as required by SOP.
• To ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation maintenance and upkeep of utilities and plant equipment.
• To perform maintenance and upkeep of Diesel Generating sets and substations.
• To develop skill and efficiency as per the company requirements.
• To develop new electricians for maintenance and troubleshooting of machines, systems, panels and electrical installation.
• To ensure no stoppage of machines and utilities due to non-availability of manpower and electrical breakdown.
• To allocates workmen for different maintenance jobs on shift-to-shift basis.
