Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited, a global CDMO, seeks a Deputy Manager - E&M to supervise day-to-day equipment maintenance and ensure reliability across shifts. You will coordinate with production officers, assign work to maintenance teams, and drive breakdown resolution while maintaining safe, compliant operations.

You will also document work orders, participate in quality and safety audits, revise engineering SOPs, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• BE degree required and relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of equipment and ensure reliable operation.
• Coordinate with production officers in shifts to resolve maintenance problems.
• Delegate work to maintenance staff as per planning and attend to breakdowns.
• Document work orders and ensure safe, environmentally responsible practices.

Coordination with Production officers in shift to solve any maintenance problems. Delegation of work to workmen as per planning attending to breakdown jobs. Documentation of work orders as prescribed. Work distribution of work order as prescribed. Ensure safe working condition and clean environmental practices. Coordinating quality and safety audits. Documentation of work order as prescribed. Verification and measurement certification of vendor bills as per ARC/Quotation. Ensuring completion of breakdown, planned jobs and cross verifying the same. Imparts EHS training to operators, helpers and contract worker. Report any incident /accident/near miss/illness to the supervisors. Executing the jobs assigned by Manager/HOD (E&M). Participating in the internal Audits, customer & Regulatory Audits as per the schedule circulated by QA & EHS. Review & Revise Engineering sop’s as per current practices. Also responsible for the work of senior in absence of senior. Conducting Training to Team. Update the history records
