Job summary

SUN PHARMA in Jammu is seeking a Utility Supervisor Engineering to oversee maintenance of utility and water systems. You will attend breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance in SAP PM, and ensure GMP/GDP compliant documentation and labeling.

Responsibilities include optimizing energy use, updating SOPs, generating reports, and preparing AutoCAD layouts for plant utilities. A BE/B.Tech with 6–9 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) relevant to utilities and systems.
• Experience in utility maintenance and water systems.
• Familiarity with SAP PM module and GMP/GDP practices.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns of utility machines and water systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and log in PM module.
• Prepare/update SOPs and maintain compliance.
• Ensure GDP practices for engineering documents.
• Operate utilities for maximum efficiency and monitor logbooks.
• Prepare utility and SGO reports on time.
• Check safety interlocks on utility/water system equipment.
• Ensure optimal use of fuel, biomass, electricity and water.
• Maintain labeling for utility/water/HVAC areas per GMP/SOP.
• Maintain stock of HSD, FO, Biomass, etc.
• Monitor power consumption and pursue energy efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits for utility areas.
• Update SOPs as needed; create layouts in AutoCAD.
• Plan testing of VCB, ACB, and transformer oil filtration.

Job Description

• To attend breakdown of all utility machines and Water system.
• To ensure the preventive maintenance as per schedule and make necessary entries in PM Module (SAP)
• To Prepare /Update & implement existing SOP, New SOPs and maintain compliance
• To ensure GDP Practices for all engineering documents in utility/water system areas.
• To ensure operation of Utilities at maximum efficiency by recording and checking of logbooks for any abnormalities, consumption and smooth operation.
• To Prepare Utility reports, SGO reports on time
• To check and ensure the safety interlocks of the Utility /Water system machines are working condition
• To Ensure and Comply optimum uses of fuel FO / Biomass, HSD, Electricity and Water
• To maintain labeling system in utility, water system and HVAC System area as per GMP & SOP
• To maintain the stock of HSD, FO, Biomass etc.
• Monitoring of power consumption and initiate energy concept at workplace.
• To maintain the utility /water system areas for internal and external audit
• To update and implement existing SOPs and New SOPs
• To prepare the layouts in AutoCAD as per requirement
• To plan and execute the testing of VCB, ACB, Oil filtration of transformer etc.
