Job summary

Pointo is seeking a Field Collection Executive to join our Debt Collections/Recovery team. The role requires visiting customers at their locations, following up on dues, and ensuring timely payments.

This field-based position involves extensive travel within the assigned territory and direct customer interactions. The candidate should be a graduate with up to 2 years of experience, possess own 2-wheeler and Android smartphone, a valid driving license, and willingness to travel roughly 120–150 km

• 0–2 years of experience in field collection, debt recovery, sales, field operations, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Own 2-wheeler is mandatory.
• Android smartphone is mandatory.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Comfortable travelling approximately 120–150 km as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers at their registered/assigned locations for payment collection.
• Follow up with customers regarding pending and overdue payments.
• Maintain regular communication with customers through phone calls and field visits.
• Explain outstanding dues and payment-related information clearly to customers.
• Ensure timely collection of assigned accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of collections, customer visits, and follow-ups.
• Submit daily/regular collection reports to the reporting manager.
• Handle customer queries and concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with the internal collections/operations team regarding payment status and customer cases.

About the Role

This is a field-based role, so the candidate should be comfortable travelling extensively within the assigned territory and interacting directly with customers.

• Travel within the assigned territory as required for collection activities.
• Achieve assigned collection targets and follow company collection processes and guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in field collection, debt recovery, sales, field operations, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Own 2-wheeler is mandatory.
• Android smartphone is mandatory.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Comfortable travelling approximately 120–150 km as required by the role.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.

Preferred

• Experience in loan collection, debt recovery, business loan collection, LAP collection, EMI collection, or financial services.
• Experience in field sales or collection will be an added advantage.
• Candidates familiar with the local Bhopal area/territory may be preferred.
