Job summary

Aculife Healthcare is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end project procurement for engineering and pharmaceutical projects. You will identify and negotiate with vendors, float RFQs, and finalize orders while coordinating with engineering, production, and stores teams to ensure timely material delivery.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end project procurement activities for engineering and project-based requirements.
• Vendor identification, development, evaluation, and negotiation for cost-effective procurement.
• Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize orders.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, production, and stores teams for material planning and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely procurement of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and project materials.
• Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement documentation and records.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages for ongoing projects.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and commercial terms.
• Cost optimization and effective negotiation to achieve project budget targets.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation activities for project materials.
• Maintain MIS reports related to procurement, vendor status, and project purchasing activities.
