Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior OEM experience as Project/Purchase Engineer is mandatory.
• Vendor experience in biotech/biopharma/pharma/API or chemical sectors required.
• Experience range 2–3 years as a purchase/project engineer.

Responsibilities

• Make kickoff meetings at the beginning of project.
• Coordinate with vendors and follow up on materials.
• Prepare price list.
• Release purchase orders to vendors.
• Review documents such as BOQ and P&ID.
• Prepare delivery schedule for purchased components.
• Follow up and ensure timely receipt of materials as per schedule.
• Prepare techno‑commercial comparison of purchased components.
• Negotiate effectively and maintain strong communication.
• Know equipment like pumps, valves, transmitters, etc.
• Coordinate with vendors and create comparison charts.
• Handle purchase order punching.
• Attend internal kickoff meetings.
• Review system designs from vendors and discuss with team.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of components.

Desired Profile of the Candidate

• Prior experience in OEM as Project/Purchase Engineer is mandatory.
• Has served as vendor to at least one sector from the following: biotech, biopharma, pharma or API/Bulk drug, chemical.
• Minimum experience: 2 years.
• Maximum experience: 3 years.
