Job summary

Ram Taranga Solutions is seeking a Security Officer to oversee overall security across multiple ground-mount solar projects. You will coordinate guards, conduct audits, manage access, deter theft, and prepare security reports.

Travel between Bidar, NP Kunta, and Pavagada sites will be required, with a focus on maintaining uniform security standards. Ideal candidates have a graduate degree and 5–8 years in security management within construction or renewable energy sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate (any discipline); ex-servicemen or police/paramilitary background preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in security management, preferably in construction, EPC, or solar/renewable energy project sites.
• Experience managing security across multiple/remote sites is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of security protocols for large open sites (ground-mount solar, industrial, or infrastructure projects).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor security arrangements at all assigned project sites.
• Supervise and coordinate site security guards/personnel deployed at each project.
• Conduct regular security audits and inspections across sites; identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective action.
• Control access at project sites and manage entry/exit of workers, vehicles, and visitors.
• Monitor and prevent theft, pilferage, or unauthorized removal of material and equipment.
• Investigate security incidents, thefts, or breaches and prepare incident reports.
• Liaise with local police, law enforcement, and government authorities as required.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and HSE team to align security protocols with site safety plans.
• Maintain security logs, registers, and documentation for each site.
• Ensure CCTV/surveillance systems (where installed) are functional and monitored.
• Train and brief security guards on standard operating procedures.
• Travel between project sites as needed to conduct checks and resolve issues.
• Prepare periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) security status reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarity with incident reporting, access control systems, and basic documentation
• Problem-solving and crisis-management ability

Other Requirements

• Willingness to be based at or travel extensively between Bidar, NP Kunta, and Pavagada sites
• Valid driving license (preferred, for inter-site travel)
