Mercom India, located in Bangalore, is a subsidiary of U.S. based Mercom Capital Group. We provide research, news, and communications services for clean energy organizations in the Indian market.

Role Description

This position will be responsible for planning, executing, and marketing Mercom events (virtual events, webinars, and physical conferences) from start to finish. Mercom will host virtual conferences and physical conferences.

We are looking for a candidate that is motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented, a self‑starter, a problem solver, has a positive attitude, and is a team player who will care about the brands we are creating.

Qualifications

• Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, GoTo Meeting, WebEx.
• Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns.
• Experience in driving sales initiatives, including the generation and conversion of leads.
• Email marketing experience, preferably with Mailchimp.
• Must have experience developing marketing collateral and presentations.
• Knowledge of basic HTML and WordPress.
• Must have sound English speaking, writing and editing skills – please do not apply if you cannot provide a writing sample showing your English writing proficiency.
• Must have experience in managing virtual events and physical conferences.
