Job summary

• Run and monitor ETP machinery, including pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, aeration tanks, and dosing systems.
• Check and log critical water quality indicators such as pH, TDS, COD, BOD, DO, and flow rates.
• Prepare and administer treatment chemicals like alum, polyelectrolyte, urea, DAP, and chlorine based on SOPs.
• Collect effluent and water samples regularly to test treatment effectiveness.
• Perform routine inspections, clean filters or media, clear clogged pumps, and report faults to maintenance.
• Maintain daily logbooks, shift handover reports, and PCB audit documentation.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE during chemical handling, and keep the plant area clean.

• Sampling & Testing: Collect effluent and water samples regularly to test treatment effectiveness.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, clean filters or media, clear clogged pumps, and report mechanical or electrical faults to the maintenance team.
• Record Keeping: Maintain daily logbooks, shift handover reports, and compliance documentation for Pollution Control Board (PCB) audits.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Follow safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) during chemical handling, and keep the plant area clean.
