Job summary

Nitika Pharmaceutical Specialities in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced ETP operator to manage wastewater treatment processes. The role focuses on operating ETP equipment such as Equalization Tank, MEE/ATFD, Filter Press, RO, EC Reactor, and adsorption units, while monitoring key parameters to ensure effluent quality meets MPCB norms.

You will coordinate shift manpower, maintain ETP logbooks, and drive process improvements for cost optimization, preventive maintenance, and adherence

Responsibilities

• ETP operation and wastewater treatment process knowledge
• Knowledge of API effluent characteristics and treatment methods
• Operation of ETP equipment (Equalization Tank, MEE/ATFD, Filter Press, RO, EC Reactor, ACF, etc.)
• Chemical dosing and process parameter monitoring
• COD, BOD, TSS, pH, conductivity, and effluent quality control
• Compliance with MPCB/environmental regulations
• ETP troubleshooting and process optimization
• Sludge handling and disposal management
• Shift manpower handling and coordination
• Preventive maintenance coordination for ETP equipment
• Utility management (steam, air, water, power)
• ETP logbook and documentation practices
• Safety compliance and chemical handling
• Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Cost reduction through process improvement and resource optimization
