Key responsibilities include maintaining ETP logs, coordinating with laboratory analyses, and supporting audits and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure effective treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater.
• Monitor ETP operations: collection tanks, pumps, blowers, aeration systems, clarifiers, filters, and filter press.
• Record wastewater parameters (pH, TDS, COD, BOD, flow rates) as per schedule.
• Prepare chemicals and perform dosing per procedures and safety guidelines.
• Oversee RO systems, if applicable, and ensure device functionality.
• Collect wastewater samples and coordinate lab analyses.
• Maintain ETP logs, chemical consumption, running hours, and daily reports.
• Handle sludge collection, filter press operations, and disposal per procedures.
• Identify abnormal conditions or breakdowns and report to supervisor.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and EHS teams for smooth operations.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, PPE, and housekeeping practices.
• Support environmental audits, inspections, and compliance activities.

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled ETP Operator to operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The candidate should have practical experience in wastewater treatment, chemical dosing, equipment monitoring, and maintaining environmental compliance as per company procedures and applicable pollution control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure effective treatment of pharmaceutical industrial wastewater.
• Monitor ETP operations, including collection tanks, pumps, blowers, aeration systems, clarifiers, filters, and filter press.
• Monitor and record wastewater parameters such as pH, TDS, COD, BOD, and flow rates as per the prescribed schedule.
• Perform chemical preparation and dosing activities using approved procedures and safety precautions.
• Monitor the operation of RO systems, if applicable, and ensure proper functioning of treatment equipment.
• Collect wastewater samples and coordinate with the laboratory for routine analysis.
• Maintain ETP operational logbooks, chemical consumption records, equipment running hours, and daily monitoring reports.
• Handle sludge collection, filter press operations, and sludge storage or disposal as per approved procedures.
• Identify abnormal operating conditions, equipment breakdowns, or deviations and report them to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and EHS teams for smooth plant operations.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and good housekeeping practices.
• Support environmental audits, inspections, and statutory compliance activities.
