Job summary

Hubert Enviro Care Systems is seeking an ETP Operator to operate and maintain its effluent treatment facility in Tamil Nadu. The role requires monitoring of water parameters and chemical dosing, with priority on safety and environmental compliance.

The candidate will work in shifts, document daily logs, and support maintenance for major breakdowns while ensuring adherence to SOPs and pollution control norms.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience operating ETP systems.
• Basic knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes.
• Ability to work in shifts and operate plant independently.
• Good understanding of safety practices and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) as per SOPs.
• Monitor treatment processes to ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms.
• Regularly check inlet/outlet water parameters such as pH, TDS, BOD, COD, TSS.
• Handle dosing of chemicals and ensure optimum chemical consumption.
• Maintain daily operation logs, shift records, and treatment reports.
• Attend minor breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance for major issues.
• Ensure functioning of pumps, blowers, motors, filters, and pipelines.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain housekeeping around the plant area.
• Support audits and inspections by statutory authorities when required.
