Your Role: Estimation Manager
We are looking for a commercially strong Estimation Manager to lead PrintStop & Mandaala’s Estimation Desk—the central pricing function responsible for nearly 80% of customer enquiries beyond standard website products. This role owns end‑to‑end commercial estimation for bespoke printing, packaging, paper and merchandise requirements. You will lead a team of estimators, build accurate costing models, negotiate commercially viable pricing across internal stakeholders, and ensure every quotation balances customer competitiveness with business profitability. The work environment is fast‑paced and high‑volume, handling pricing decisions ranging from small orders to large enterprise programs worth crores.

Location: Bhiwandi (regular coordination across Sourcing, Supply Chain, Sales, Enterprise Sales & Account Management teams)
Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer
Team Size: 3 Members
Key Responsibilities
- Review, approve, and finalize quotations prepared by the estimation team.
- Build accurate costing models for custom products using raw material, manufacturing, logistics, and margin inputs.
- Make commercially sound decisions on pricing and strategic margin flexibility based on business opportunity.
- Ensure all quotations are delivered within defined turnaround timelines.
- Monitor and proactively close pending and aging quotations.
Cross‑functional Collaboration & Negotiation
- Act as the commercial bridge between Sales, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams.
- Negotiate internally to achieve competitive pricing while protecting company margins.
- Evaluate trade‑offs involving pricing, product selection, sourcing and delivery timelines.
- Escalate and resolve complex commercial decisions when required.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, coach and mentor the Estimation team.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure consistency, speed and pricing accuracy.
- Drive continuous learning through training on new products, categories, pricing structures and costing methodologies.
Process & Documentation
- Maintain and continuously improve estimation processes and standard operating procedures.
- Own and regularly update rate masters, costing sheets and pricing databases.
- Ensure all quotations and estimation records are properly documented and easily retrievable.
- Manage the sample library and coordinate sample requests across departments.
Performance Review & Reporting
- Analyze quotation win/loss trends and identify opportunities for pricing improvements.
- Review quotation errors, root causes and corrective actions with the team.
- Track key performance metrics including turnaround time, quote aging, estimation accuracy and category‑wise conversion rates.
- Present periodic performance reports and commercial insights to leadership.
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Information Security policies and organizational SOPs.
- Report any information security incidents, events or process deviations as per company guidelines.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in high‑volume pricing, estimation or commercial costing.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team is preferred.
Preferred Background
- Pricing or Category Management in high‑volume e‑commerce or Quick Commerce organisations.
- Commercial Pricing or Costing roles within Logistics or Freight organisations.
- Cost & Management Accounting (CMA) qualification or equivalent costing expertise.
- Commerce, Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering background is an added advantage.
Experience in the Printing or Corporate Gifting industry is not mandatory.

- Strong ability to develop costing models from first principles without relying on predefined catalog pricing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pricing/rate management systems.
- High numerical accuracy and strong analytical capabilities under tight timelines.
Commercial Judgment & Negotiation
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to balance customer competitiveness and company profitability.
- Strong commercial judgment to determine when strategic pricing flexibility is appropriate.
- Sound understanding of customer behaviour, deal economics and long‑term business value.
Operational Excellence
- Comfortable handling high daily volumes and making quick, data‑driven commercial decisions.
- Strong process orientation with exceptional documentation discipline.
- Ability to prioritise multiple concurrent requests while maintaining quality and turnaround time.
Leadership & Communication
- Experience leading, coaching and developing estimation professionals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Leadership teams.
