Job summary

Precon India Consulting Llp is seeking an estimation professional to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for US-based construction projects. You will review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify scope, quantities, and material requirements.

The role requires experience with US-based GC collaborations, proficiency in estimation tools (Bluebeam/PlanSwift/OST), and strong analytical skills to manage bid worksheets and cost breakdowns.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in construction estimation.
• Experience working on US-based construction projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, and construction drawings.
• Experience working with US-based General Contractors on residential and commercial construction projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
• Good understanding of US construction practices, terminology, and trade-wise estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience in Excel and estimation software/tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify scope and estimation requirements.
• Compare subcontractor/vendor quotations and support the preparation of competitive bids.
