Job summary

PMC Exports seeks a detail-oriented Estimator to support UK construction tendering from India. You will review drawings, BoQs, and specifications, and perform quantity take-offs while maintaining pricing spreadsheets for UK projects.

The role requires strong accuracy, solid understanding of construction documentation, and proficiency with spreadsheets. 2+ years in estimating or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

We at PMC Exports are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and support our estimating department with UK-based construction projects, including tender preparation, document management, and accurate quantity take-offs.

• Review and organise tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BoQs for UK-based projects.
• Identify missing or unclear information and coordinate with the Business Development team.
• Carry out accurate quantity take-offs from construction drawings.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quantity take-off spreadsheets.
• Organise project documentation and ensure all information is ready for pricing.
• Submit completed take-offs and supporting documentation to the estimating team.
• Develop a good understanding of UK construction standards, terminology, and project requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quantities.
• Familiarity with UK construction projects is preferred.
• Highly organised with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital tools.
• 2+ years of experience in estimating, construction, flooring, or a related field is a plus.
