Kedar Ventures is seeking an experienced Estimation and Billing Engineer to lead quantity take offs, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and tendering for residential and commercial building projects in Pune.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of civil construction, cost control practices, and the ability to convert drawings and specifications into accurate estimates that support project wins and margin protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 810 years of hands-on experience in estimation and costing for building projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and specialized cost estimation/ERP software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market trends and historical data.
• Experience in residential and commercial building projects; exposure to highrise projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and BOQs from drawings, specifications, and site inputs.
• Develop and maintain rate analysis for materials, labor, plant, and subcontract packages.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate vendor/subcontractor bids, and recommend award decisions.
• Monitor budget vs actual, track variations, prepare cost forecasts, and support monthly cost reporting.
• Perform accurate quantity take offs using drawings, AutoCAD, and measurement standards.
• Assist commercial and project teams with contract clauses, payment schedules, and claims support.
• Prequalify vendors, obtain quotations, and negotiate rates to optimize project costs.
• Ensure estimates comply with IS codes, NBC, and company estimation standards.
• Maintain estimation templates, historical rate database, and tender submission records.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, planning, and site teams to validate assumptions and resolve discrepancies.
